Offline conversion tracking

Recruitee + Microsoft Ads Integration

LeadTrackr sends Recruitee pipeline stages and hired/disqualified outcomes to Microsoft Advertising as offline conversions, matching each hire back to its MSCLKID so Bing search and Audience Network bidding optimize on filled vacancies instead of applications.

LeadTrackr pushes the hired-candidate outcome to Microsoft Ads via Offline Conversion Import.

How do you send Recruitee hires to Microsoft Ads?

LeadTrackr reads the Recruitee pipeline stage and the hired or disqualified status of each candidate, then imports the matching outcome into Microsoft Advertising through the Offline Conversions API. It captures the MSCLKID on the original application form and stores it against the Recruitee candidate, so when that candidate reaches Interview or Hired, the conversion is attributed back to the Microsoft ad click that produced the application.

Why connect them

What Recruitee + Microsoft Ads unlocks

Bid on hires, not applications

Map Recruitee stages such as Interview and Hired to Microsoft Ads conversion goals, so automated bidding weights the clicks that produce placeable candidates rather than the ones that generate application volume.

MSCLKID stored on the candidate

Auto-tagging appends the MSCLKID to every Microsoft ad click. LeadTrackr captures it when the application form is submitted and holds it against the Recruitee candidate, so a hire weeks later still resolves to the campaign and keyword.

Cost per hire, not cost per application

Once hires flow back as conversions, Target CPA optimizes toward the real recruitment metric. Campaigns that produce many cheap applications but no placements stop absorbing budget.

Recruiters change nothing

LeadTrackr reads the Recruitee pipeline your recruiters already move candidates through. There is no extra field to fill in, no parallel status, and no change to how vacancies or stages are configured.

Recruiters feeding Recruitee hires into Microsoft Ads consistently report lower cost per hire once bidding optimizes on filled vacancies rather than application-form volume.

How it works

Set up once, runs automatically

01

Recruitee candidate reaches a mapped stage

A candidate advances to a stage such as Interview, or is marked Hired in the Recruitee pipeline — the stages you selected as conversions during setup.

02

LeadTrackr builds the offline conversion

LeadTrackr reads the MSCLKID stored on the Recruitee candidate and assembles the conversion using the original click time. No value is attached, because a candidate carries no amount.

03

Uploaded to Microsoft Advertising

The conversion is imported against your offline conversion goal and attributed to the original click date, so Target CPA reweights Bing and Audience Network delivery toward cost per hire.

FAQ

Recruitee + Microsoft Ads questions

You can bid toward it with Target CPA, using the Hired event as the conversion. The practical constraint is volume: hires are rare relative to applications, and Microsoft only accepts offline conversions up to 90 days after the click. Most recruiters therefore map an earlier stage such as Interview as the bidding event, which fires sooner and more often while still representing genuine quality, and keep Hired as the reporting conversion.
No. A candidate carries no monetary amount in Recruitee, so LeadTrackr sends the conversion without a value rather than inventing one. That rules out Target ROAS and Maximize Conversion Value for this connection — Target CPA and Maximize Conversions are the right strategies. If you want to weight vacancies differently, you can configure a fixed value per vacancy in LeadTrackr and send that instead.
Through a personal API token generated in your Recruitee account settings, which LeadTrackr uses to read candidates, pipeline stages and their hired or disqualified status. There is no app to install in Recruitee and no change to your vacancy setup. The token only needs read access — LeadTrackr never writes to your candidate records.
