Pipedrive + ChatGPT Ads Integration

LeadTrackr sends Pipedrive deals to ChatGPT Ads through OpenAI’s Conversions API, matching each Won deal back to its oppref click identifier and passing the Pipedrive deal value so conversion-optimised bidding learns from your pipeline instead of your form fills.

LeadTrackr pushes the closed-deal value to ChatGPT Ads via ChatGPT Ads Conversions API.

How do you send Pipedrive deals to ChatGPT Ads?

LeadTrackr reads the Pipedrive pipeline stage and deal value, then posts the matching outcome to the ChatGPT Ads Conversions API server-side. It captures the oppref click identifier when the visitor lands from a sponsored ChatGPT placement, stores it on the Pipedrive deal alongside hashed email and phone for advanced matching, and fires the conversion when the deal reaches a mapped stage or is marked Won. Because ChatGPT Ads bids for conversions, the events you send are the training signal for the auction.

Why connect them

What Pipedrive + ChatGPT Ads unlocks

Server-side, so late deals still count

A Pipedrive deal that closes six weeks after the click is invisible to any browser pixel. LeadTrackr posts it to the Conversions API from the server, which is the layer OpenAI built for conversions that happen after the visit.

Conversion bidding trained on deal value

ChatGPT Ads conversion events accept a value, so LeadTrackr sends the Pipedrive deal value with every Won outcome. The oCPC auction then weighs a large deal differently from a small one instead of counting every form fill the same.

oppref held against the deal

The oppref click identifier lives in an __oppref cookie for 30 days. LeadTrackr reads it on landing and writes it onto the Pipedrive deal, so the attribution survives long past the point where the browser would have forgotten the click.

Advanced matching when oppref is gone

Where the click identifier is missing or expired, the hashed email and phone from the Pipedrive person carry the match. Hashing happens before anything leaves LeadTrackr — raw contact details are never sent to OpenAI.

Advertisers connecting Pipedrive to ChatGPT Ads early give conversion-optimised bidding a pipeline-grade signal from the first week — on a channel where most competitors are still uploading form fills.

How it works

Set up once, runs automatically

01

Pipedrive deal reaches a mapped stage

A deal advances to Proposal Made or is marked Won — the pipeline moments you chose as conversions, not the form submission that started them.

02

LeadTrackr builds the server-side event

LeadTrackr retrieves the oppref value stored on the deal, adds the hashed email and phone for advanced matching, attaches the Pipedrive deal value and stamps a stable event ID so the OAIQ pixel cannot double-count it.

03

Posted to the Conversions API

The event is sent to your ChatGPT Ads Pixel ID with your bearer token. OpenAI attributes it to the placement that earned the click, and conversion-optimised bidding steers delivery toward the conversations that produce deals.

FAQ

Pipedrive + ChatGPT Ads questions

Because since conversion-optimised bidding went live, the events you send are what the auction learns from. Feed it form submissions and it buys form submissions — including the low-intent ones. Feed it Pipedrive deals that reached Proposal Made or Won, with their deal value attached, and it learns which sponsored placements produce actual pipeline. On a young channel with no historical conversion data, that early signal quality matters more than it does on a mature one.
It is still worth running for page views and browser-side signals, but it cannot see a Pipedrive deal closing weeks later. The rule when you run both layers is deduplication: the pixel and the Conversions API must send the same event ID for the same conversion, or the event is counted twice and bidding trains on inflated volume. LeadTrackr sends a stable event ID per conversion for exactly that reason.
LeadTrackr falls back to advanced matching on the hashed email address and phone number from the Pipedrive person, which recovers a large share of conversions where the click identifier was stripped, expired past its 30-day window, or the visitor switched devices between the ChatGPT click and the form. The deal is never dropped: it stays in your dashboard with whatever attribution it has, so you can see the gap rather than silently lose it.
